Woohoo, JournalPress should now be compatible with WordPress v2.7 RC1. There really wasn’t much to change, apart from the fact that I was apparently using a depreciated API hook to add the meta box to the new post page. So that’s now been updated to use add_meta_box() like a good plugin, and all should be dandy.
2.7 puts the Add Mirrors page in an exceptionally stupid locationi, which I’ll fix eventually (maybe), but for now take heart by the fact that there’s a new little plugin page hook that allows you to add custom link options. Now if only people actually read the instructions instead of emailing me every time they can’t find something…
I’ve also rolled up that fix for the non-Roman characters on the Settings page, so all should be well. There are a couple more minor features to get slotted in before I go back to poking at The Big One (userpics), but I think this weekend will be spent updating β’s template to use 2.7’s native threaded comments.
Or playing WoW… or Fallout 3. I haven’t decided yet.

Great plug-in, regardless of what kind of character it supports
One question, is how can I force cross post a batch of posts? It works on single post by changing its status to Not Published and then back, but it doesn’t seem to work when I edit multiple at the same time. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Roman
Because of the multiple-journal support, non-interactive crossposting (which includes batch edits and posts from external devices) is not supported at this time.
It’s “planned” in that the code is currently being conceptually worked on, and will be out… whenever I get the chance to write it.
I’ve been trying to use this plugin for crossposting to InsaneJournal and LiveJournal from WP 2.7, but it doesn’t seem to work for InsaneJournal. I always get a transport error message about how it couldn’t open socket 0. I have no idea what that means or how to fix that. I’d be grateful for your help.

Honestly? No idea. I use it to successfully crosspost to IJ all the time, however, so I would suspect that the problem isn’t actually in JournalPress itself.
If you follow these instructions I may be able to tell you more.
I have no idea what I did differently, but now it’s working. Very weird!
Great plugin!

Oh well, glad it works for you.
hello! what i do wrong? I try to make scheduled post, check [x] Post to journal.
But why I press schedule button it does not save checkbox leaving it [ ].
Does journalpress plugin work with scheduled posts or not?
It should do. What version are you using?
It seems last – 0.2.1
Also: What version of WordPress, what other plugins are you running.
The version of WP is 2.7
Okay, I’ve had a look and I can’t replicate this error with JournalPress.
However, the alpha of WP-Flock does cause it; are you using that plugin as well?
No, I’m not.
